Are you new or wondering about who we are?
We’re a congregation in the midst of a revitalization process to strengthen our membership of all ages in order to accomplish our purpose. Join us!
Are you seeking an open-minded and open-hearted community to explore the meaning of life, faith and spirituality? We would love you to be a part of our friendly little band.
We worship every Sunday at 9.30 AM. We are gathering in person and online in a hybrid format. Find us at 12109 Harris road, or call us for the password at Zoom ID 604-910-1481 or on Facebook.com/pmucbc
As a vibrant and caring community we seek to live the questions, celebrate together, nurture hope, engage our minds, and find inspiration in the Christian Story.
Thanks for visiting our website, please browse around and learn more about us. See following some basic information that may be helpful to newcomers. We look forward to seeing you soon!
The service
We sing songs, enjoy silence, listen to readings from the Bible, join in some prayers, and listen to a message which relates the readings to our daily lives. The worship leader will indicate when to stand if you’re comfortable doing so, and when to sit.
Communion
We celebrate the sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of the month. In the United Church all are welcome at the table – including children, if they wish. If you are not comfortable, you are not required to take part.
What music is played during services?
We love music! Our services usually feature piano, guitar, and drum and we have a great little choir.
What happens after the service?
We have a conversation in the hall over tea and coffee, and those on Zoom check in too.
More about us . . .
Pitt Meadows United Church worships and has its physical sanctuary in the Pitt Meadows Community Church at the corner of Harris and Ford in “downtown” Pitt Meadows. We usually share this beautiful heritage church with a Traditional Anglican congregation… The building is owned by the Community Church Society, a registered charity with membership comprised of members of the United Church.
Also on the property is the Community Church Hall, which is the site for countless community events. The Hall and/or the Church are available for suitable events through contacting the Society, at the following number:
